On Friday 26th, members of Interfaith Wolverhampton took part in Holocaust Memorial Day - "The Fragility of Freedom" in the Georgian Suite of Wolverhampton Art Gallery. City of Wolverhampton Council had worked jointly with Interfaith Wolverhampton to ensure that we recognised and paid tribute to Holocaust Memorial Day, with speakers representing our community. Sonja Dembo, co-lead of the Holocaust Memorial Day working group, mentioned that genocide is often preceded by a suble, slow process, identified by Professor Gregory Stanton as "The Ten Stages of Genocode". Organisations such as "Hope not Hate" are actively engaged in opposing such early stages where they appear..
