The Gujerati Association was formed some 25 years ago to promote social, cultural, religious and educational activities amongst the Gujerati speaking community in and around Wolverhampton, which numbers approx. 500 households. The majority of Gujeratis follow Hinduism and are peace loving, law abiding, believe in family values and are respectful of all religions and faiths. The local meeting point is the hall in Mander Street, Penn Fields where, apart from the religious and cultural activities that take place, there is also a vibrant youth club, elderly day centre and educational activities such as First Aid Courses and Keep Fit classes.

The Lord is very satisfied with His devotee when the devotee greets other people with tolerance, friendship and equality. (Quote from Bhagavad Gita)
