Darlington Street Methodist Church is the largest of 25 churches in the three circuits in the Borough.

John Wesley visited the town in the 1780's and a Methodist community was established which still flourishes today.

"The world is my parish".

I am no longer mine but yours...
I willingly offer all I  have and am to serve You,
As and where you choose.
