The Hope Community was founded in 1985, by the Sisters of the Infant Jesus.

From the beginning it was a community of lay people and sisters living on the estate and working together with the local residents to build a community in Heath Town.

Hope Community also works with the Fr. Hudson Society, and has opened a Hope Family Centre near to the shops on the estate.

The word is made flesh and lives among us.
